Hi! My name is Bekah- I'm an artist and musician from Los Angeles, California.
My art has turned towards contemporary devotional art practices that translates Bhakti imagery into hand-created, wearable objects, treating clothing as a portable sacred artwork.
Kirtan is a huge part of my practice and where all of my years of learning about music and art has lead to.
I'm an open hearted person who wants to Serve Like Hanuman and try my best to use my talents to help others in some capacity. I try using my vessel as a tool for God to create and become loving awareness each day at a time.
Sub-ek is a Sanskrit phrase meaning "all one". Neem Karoli Baba loved to say this. It's taken me a long time to understand the true meaning of the one-ness and I'm so grateful to be here now.
For those curious, Subekah is a combination of Sub-ek and my name, Bekah.
